		The "Deluxe" Set $276.95 The J&J Deluxe set improves on the Standard set by adding a top cable winch & webbing tensioners for excellent tightening and play out of the net. The Deluxe set uses the same Carron 32' x 36" 2mm twisted poly net with a 2" white top band and 1/8" top cable. As an upgrade option ($24.95 additional), a Carron 32' x 36" flexibar treated polyester twine net with 3/16" top cable can be substituted. This net has a tape bound headband and comes in the choice of white, neon orange, neon green, or neon yellow headband colors. Initial net tensioning of the Deluxe set is accomplished through the 3 adjustable guy ropes per pole standard. After the tension on the guy ropes are equalized and the poles are in the desired position, the ratchet winch can be used to fine tune the tension of the top cable. For maximum play out of the net, a 36" dowel rod and two Velcro webbing tensioners are used to stretch each end of the net to the nearby pole standard. With all these features it is easy to see why the Deluxe set received a Very Good rating for play quality and value relative to price by "Volleyball Monthly Magazine". Click on picture for larger view Deluxe Set Competitive Comparison The primary features of the Deluxe set compared to competitors are the top cable ratchet winch, the velcro webbing tensioner straps, and pole differences. The 1100 lb tensile strength ratchet winch allows quick, easy, and tight assembly of the top cable. Most competitors' in the Deluxe set price range do not offer top cable tensioning. One competitor offers a tedious slide bar arrangement for providing top cable tension. In addition to the ratchet winch, the Deluxe set provides 4 Velcro webbing tensioners and tensioning dowels to fine tune the net webbing for optimal play out of the net. Similar to the ratchet winch, periodic adjustment of the net webbing takes only seconds with the Velcro design. Compare the strength and flexibility of our Velcro tension straps compared to competitors' shock or tie cords. Compare poles standards of competitors in the Deluxe price range and you will mostly find 1-1/4" or 1-3/4" diameter poles compared to J&J's 2" diameter poles. Our 2" poles provide a stiff rigid backbone for tensioning of the net webbing. A tight net webbing provides the player a much greater opportunity to recover a ball out of the net since the bounce is more horizontal and playable. The Deluxe set is an excellent choice for the avid recreational volleyball player, rental company, park and recreation department, or school.
