The Standard set uses a Carron 32' x 36" 2mm twisted poly net with a 2" white top band. The net uses a coated 1/8" top cable connected directly to open eyebolts on the pole standards. An optional upgrade net is available in three neon or a white headband color. The top cable tension is provided through adjustment of the 3 adjustable guy ropes per pole standard. Tie strings provide the lower net tension. Holes are provided on the standard poles for later optional addition of a ratchet winch for either top and/or bottom cable tension.   The Standard set provides the ruggedness required to survive weekend parties, a day at the beach, or rental use, without hurting the checkbook.  Standard Set Competitive Comparison The J&J Products Standard set distances itself from its price range competitors by offering a net with an 1/8" top cable instead of rope or pole wrapped ends. By using a cable, J&J takes advantage of the 3 guy rope system to provide excellent net cross cable tension. Simply position the cable eyelets through the open eyebolts and tighten the guy ropes and you are ready to play. The 2 mm twisted polyethylene net with top band will provide good net dig for starter or weekend players. The Standard set offers the opportunity to economically upgrade the set later if so desired. Competitors don't offer this capability.
